Past Exhibits held in the Battle Hall Reading Room
- Then and Now: The Library of the School of Architecture. This exhibit gives an overview of the library’s history as it developed from a faculty collection, to an established library in 1912, and then how it moved along with the School to its new locations. (December 2010 - August 2011)
- Maya Architecture: Selections from the George F. and Geraldine Andrews Collection, curated by Meghan Rubenstein, Beth Dodd and Donna Coates (Summer 2010)
- Karl Kamrath: Architect and Collector, curated by Katie Pierce (December 2009 - March 2010)
- Information, Technology, and the Public Library. Drawings and models prepared by Professor Louise Harpman's advanced design studio (spring 2006) for the new Blanco Library in Blanco, Texas. As part of the studio, the students presented their proposals in the typical school of architecture jury format at school, and also in a large "town hall" style meeting in Blanco. Local residents, planning officials, and journalists from Blanco, Johnson City, and San Antonio attended the session. The student projects were on display throughout the summer of 2006 at the Blanco Library and were also featured in the Blanco County News. (June-October 2007)
- Sanctioning Modernism, an exhibition of materials drawn from the Alexander Architectural Archive and the Architecture and Planning Library's Special Collection, held in conjunction with a symposium on post-World War II architecture (March-May 2007)
