Background: Daniel Hamermesh, Sue Killam Professor in the Foundations of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts, discusses the nexus of physical beauty and professional success.

Hamermesh’s book on the topic, "Beauty Pays: Why Attractive People Are More Successful," examines how better-looking people experience startling but undeniable benefits in all aspects of life.
