Five years after it first launched an all-branches presence during Research Week at The University of Texas at Austin, the University of Texas Libraries is once again returning its Libraries Fair to the Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) plaza.
Event: The Fine Arts Library at The University of Texas at Austin hosts a screening of “The Typewriter in the 21st Century.” The event is free and open to the public.
Event: Science Study Break features Dr. Glenn Lightsey of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics on the rocket science of Star Trek. The event is free and open to the public. When: 6 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2013 Where: Student Activity Center Auditorium (SAC 1.402) at The University of Texas at Austin.
EVENT: “Unsettled/Desasosiego: Children in a World of Gangs” An exhibition of photos by Donna DeCesare. WHEN: 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013. WHERE: The Benson Latin American Collection (SRH 1.108)
