Celebrating the Life

After nearly six months of continuous work on an effort to expand library services, Student Government representatives at The University of Texas at Austin can now make an initial success official. At 8 p.m. on October 15, the University of Texas Libraries and Student Government will formally launch 24-hour service at the Perry-Castañeda Library, with a small celebration to follow in the University Federal Credit Union Student Learning Commons.
Event: Research + Pizza features Daniel Hamermesh discussing the nexus of beauty and success. The event is free and open to the public. When: Noon, Wednesday, October 17, 2012 Where: The University of Texas at Austin, Perry-Castañeda Library, Room 2.500 (map).
EVENT: “Science Study Break: Superhuman Strength.” The event is free and open to the public. WHEN: 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2011. WHERE: Student Activity Center Auditorium (SAC 1.402) at The University of Texas at Austin.
EVENT: Temple Style and Immigrant Identity: Yinshan Temple in Early 19th-century Tamsui WHEN: 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012.
