AUSTIN, Texas – Experimental artist Graciela Sacco will present an installation of her work and take part in a public conversation at The University of Texas at Austin on Thursday, March 12. The event, hosted by the Permanent Seminar in Latin American Art, the Department of Art and Art History, the College of Fine Arts and the Fine Arts Library, will take place from 6-7 p.m. in the Richard T. and Jan J. Roberts Reading Room at the Fine Arts Library.
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas Libraries has partnered with the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History to present an exhibit of materials related to the life and career of Barbara Jordan.
AUSTIN, Texas – The fourth annual David O. Nilsson Lecture in Contemporary Drama takes on meta-theatre as noted stage actors tackle scenes from Tom Stoppard's playful play about plays, "The Real Thing." The event – "'The Real Thing' in Real Time: An Interactive Performance/Discussion of Tom Stoppard" – will take place at 5:45pm on April 1 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, and is hosted by the University of Texas Libraries and the Fine Arts Library.
AUSTIN, Texas – The seventh annual ¡A Viva Voz! celebration hosted by the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection will feature renowned Chicana artist Carmen Lomas Garza.
