Libraries co-sponsor global leadership program

AUSTIN, Texas (February 4, 2008) —

Act Local – Think Global: A Global Leadership Program

When: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Where: Texas Union Ballroom

Act Local – Think Global is a global leadership program for UT students to hone their leadership skills for the global arena.  Check out www.altg.org for more information.

Learn important leadership skills and discuss important international issues, such as Human Rights, Social Entrepreneurship, Public Health & HIV/AIDS, Sustainability, Climate Change, Economic Development, and Hunger and Poverty.

Act Local – Think Global is co-sponsored by the Texas Union Student Events Center, UT Libraries, the Resource Center, Informal Classes, RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, Liberal Arts Career Services, Strauss Center for International Security and Law, Student Activities and Leadership Development, the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and the Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice.
