EVENT: “Art Across the Americas,” an Austin Lima Sister Cities art exhibition. Reception and month-long exhibition are free and open to the public.
WHEN: Reception is Saturday, Oct. 1, 6-9 p.m. Exhibition runs Oct. 1-30.
WHERE: The University of Texas at Austin, Benson Latin American Collection, Sid Richardson Hall (SRH 1.108). A map is available online. Parking available in Lot 38 (serving the LBJ Museum) off Red River Street.
Vicunas from Art Across the AmericasBACKGROUND: The Benson Latin American Collection hosts the fifth annual “Art Across the Americas” exhibition of the Austin Lima Sister Cities Committee, featuring original artwork from Peruvian and North American artists. Consul General of Peru Carlos Polo is scheduled to be in attendance.
