Celebrating the Life

May 6, 2009 - 7:35am

The University of Texas Libraries has announced the upcoming relocation of the Audio Visual Library (AVL) from its home in the Flawn Academic Center to the Fine Arts Library in the Doty Fine Arts Building.

The move will occur from July 11-August 2 when accommodations will be made for faculty access to the collections of the Audio Visual Library.

The move was made to streamline and enhance the services of Fine Arts and AVL by consolidating the similar materials, formats and tools of the individual libraries. The combined location for both resources creates a one-stop shop for primary users of both collections.

The Libraries has developed a list of frequently asked questions that is available at http://www.lib.utexas.edu/avl_relocation.html to address a number of inquiries that have been posed. The page will be updated in the event of scheduling or service changes before and during the relocation.
