Support the Chemistry Library
Endowment Funds
The Mallet Chemistry Library has two endowment funds that are used to purchase information in the chemical sciences. We welcome and encourage gifts from individuals and corporations to help keep UT's Chemistry Library one of the best. Checks can be sent directly to the Chemistry Library, with the name of the endowment in the note space, or donors can use forms found in these links:

| The Boggs Chemistry Library Endowment was established in 1998 by Professor James E. and Mrs. Ruth Ann Boggs. |
The Skinner Endowment was established in 1985 in honor of longtime Mallet Librarian Aubrey Skinner. |
Book Donations
The Chemistry Library also accepts in-kind donations of books and journals for addition to the collections. We welcome new and recent books and textbooks, and complete, multivolume runs of journals not currently held. However, we usually do not accept older (pre-1995) course textbooks, duplicate and/or incomplete journals, materials in poor condition, manuscripts, and materials that are outside the collection's scope. If you have books you'd like to donate, please contact the Chemistry Librarian in advance. For information on tax deductions and appraisals, see the
In-Kind Gifts page. In order to make the most effective use of resources, the University of Texas Libraries reserve the right to determine the disposition of all donated materials.
